Planning for the Nights
Due to the mediocre weather forecast for
the Galilean Nights and especially the last day, the Sirius
bureau prepared a plan B. From left to right, Jamal, Kamel,

The first observing Galilean Night on Friday night graced
us with a great cloudless sky.
|
In
addition to telescopic observations in the Galilean spirit,
we had sky map reading sessions with the public.

The newly acquired Newtonian 150mm put in use.

Cluttering around the Meade ETX 90mm: A night of emotion
and sharing.

Many groups were there, distributed all over the Emir Abdelkader
Mosque plaza and receiving expert instructions from the Sirius
members.

The palm of dedication went to this family
who came all the way from Sedrata close to the Tunisian border
so as to be present with us that night. Here standing with them
is Kamel the Sirius Vice President (with glasses).
