Our ever active member Radhouane Benmehia, now at Msila University as a Faculty member of the Biology Department, was requested to organize, as an activity of the International Year of Astronomy 2009 in the region, an astronomy training camp for the benefit of the youth at Ouled Djellal in the Biskra governorate (Wilaya). This night long program organized by Sirius in collaboration with the Direction of Tourism of the Wilaya, was quite successful in initiating people to stargazing and the manipulation of astronomical instruments.
