Abdelkader in the background. The lights were quite subdued
and they appear strong due to the overexposure of the picture.

Despite the late time and the cold night, groups of people dropped
by. They were briefed by the Sirius animators.
|

The night was crystal clear and the spectacle was superb.
|

By all means...

An eclipsed Moon
high over Constantine wit a visible star field.
|

Picture taking
was part of the fun.
|

As the Moon was rather high in the sky, the mosque's steps were
used with profit... leading to rather awkward position.
|

A small Meade was
used for astrophotography as well as sighting.
|

A scope was used with
the public for viewing the progression of the eclipse.
|

Here some of the animators of the Sirius Astronomy
Association when all was over around 2:30 in the morning.
|

The night got rather
cold although the sky stayed cloudless throughout. Hot beverages
were there to keep the fun going.
