The English and Japanese versions of the poster
were released for the International Year of Astronomy 2009

We thought back in 2009 at Sirius that in view of its great pedagogical value, the project was worth bringing to the Arabic speaking readership. We engaged in discussions with the Japanese partners, in particular Dr. Kumiko S. Usuda, the outreach scientist of Subaru Telescope, NAOJ to carry out its translation and printing in Arabic language. The various copyrighted material had to be dealt with and related fees paid for, which was done by the Japanese partners.
As for Sirius, it translated the poster and took care of the technical implemention of the arabic version.
In addition, the printing was generously financed by the CRAAG
