- La participation au 18ème Festival National d'Astronomie Populaire est ouverte à tous les Clubs et Associations d'Astronomie ou scientifique activant sur le territoire national. Veuillez remplir la Google Form avant le 01 juin 2023. Vous recevrez alors avant le 05 juin au plus tard une confirmation de votre participation.
- La participation au Festival est aussi ouverte aux Associations soeurs des autres pays moyennant certains arrangements. Nous assurons l'hébergement complet à notre charge. Dans ce dernier cas, veuillez remplir la Google Form avant le 01 juin 2023 et aussi nous contacter directement.

Registration to the 2023 Festival

Participants from Abroad (French & English speaking):
Associations and individuals from abroad wishing to participate to the Festival are most welcome. Please fill out the Google Form before the 1st of June 2023. application form is here (For Arabic speaking people, see below). They are however urged to contact us so as to work out the specific arrangements. Full local accommodations will be provided free of charge for them.
Participants from Africa are particularly welcome and we will make extra efforts in order to receive amateurs from the continent. Please contact us.

1) Catherine Cesarsky
Our festival's keynote speaker. Renowned French astrophysicist. High Energy Cosmic Rays and infrared astronomy. She was formerly president of the International Astronomical Union and the general director of the European Southern Observatory, Chairman of the Board of the Square Kilometer Array radio telescope project.

2) James Chibueze
Radio-astronomer from Nigeria. He is the IAU special guest at our Festival. He works on massive star formation using high resolution interferometric observational techniques at the Space Research Center, North-West University (NWU) in South Africa. He is also the head of Science Committee of the African Astronomical Socity (AfAS).

3) María Begoña Vila
Spanish astrophysicist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. Working as a systems engineer. She is also a lead engineer on a key instrument of the JWST. National Coordinator of astronomy for the Spanish Research Agency

4) Nassim Seghouani
Astrophysicist, past director of the astronmy and astrophysics division at the Research Astronomy Astrophysics & Geophysics Center (CRAAG). Project manager of the Aurès National Observatory

5) Takalani Nemaungani
Chief Director for the Astronomy portfolio at the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) in South Africa, Member of the Executive Committee of the African Astronomical Society (AfAS)

6) Hafid Aourag
Algerian physicist, University of Tlemcen. Past director of the General Directorate of Scientific Research and Technological Development (DGRSDT), Algeria

7) Awni Khasawneh
General Secretary of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences ( AUASS), Jordan

8) Patricia Sánchez-Blázquez
Astrophysicist at the Complutense University of Madrid. Her research is focused on the area of galaxy formation and evolution. She will talk about: "The extraordinary science revealed by the JWST in its first 1.5 years of life"

9) Ala'a Azzam
Astrophysicist at Jordan University. Founder of AstroJo Institute promoting education and research in astronomy and space sciences in Jordan.

10) Fayçal Demri
Well known Algerian astrophotographer and seasoned amateur astronomer, Sirius Astronomy Association & CDTA, Algeria
